A fresh, delicious blend of 47% Viognier, 46% Roussanne, 7% Marsanne from the East Bench of Osoyoos. This displays a predominantly Viognier nose, with vibrant aromas of apricots, mayflowers and honey. The wine has nice weight and body on the palate, is smooth and has a long, vibrant finish.

Hess ‘Lake County’ Sauvignon Blanc 2007, California
A full flavoured Sauvignon Blanc from the Hess Collection Winery in Napa’s Mount Veeder district. White peach, pineapple and melon on the nose lead into more traditional varietal characters of gooseberry and lemongrass.

A new winery from longtime Burrowing Owl winemaker Stephen Wyse and partner Michelle Young. This full-bodied merlot is a multi-textured wine with blueberry, cassis and spice flavours. After 11 months in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels, this wine is released unfiltered and unfined.

De Toren ‘Z’ 2007, South Africa
The wines of De Toren are a perennial favourite on our wine offerings. The concept of a gravity fed winery, basket pressing and hand harvesting of the five Bordeaux grape varieties could only be a winning formula. The 2007 vintage is a blend of 47% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Cabernet Franc, 8% Malbec and 6% Petit Verdot. This vibrant wine is drinking well now, but will reward patient cellaring of five to eight years.
