The General Manager (GM) is responsible for balancing the multifaceted needs of a service-oriented members-only club, while strategically guiding the organization through its progressing change. This is a pivotal moment in the long history of this premium organization and an exciting opportunity to bring forward a visionary leader who can optimize and build upon the Club’s exceptional reputation. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the GM will deliver the strategic vision and ensure that The Vancouver Club meets the current and evolving needs of members. They will provide outstanding member services and demonstrate strong team leadership. The GM will be responsible for developing and executing a clear, member-centric business plan.
The ideal candidate will bring proven successful senior leadership experience in complex organizations within high-end service-oriented environments, having managed all areas of operations, developing business plans and performance improvement, to deliver efficient, thoroughly modern operations and an enhanced member experience, thereby ensuring long-term financial and operational excellence. Experience with facility planning, maintenance and capital projects will be an advantage. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of business insight, combined with energy and passion.
